Ham was the only puppy in the litter and he was also our first home bred champion. From the time he was a tiny puppy, he had that "look at me, I am special" attitude and was always "Hamin' It Up" for our attention - hence his name. He was completely breeder/owner handled to his championship finishing from the bred-by class in 8 shows by 9 months of age. Along the way, he was honored with an APC National Best Of Winners and Best Bred-by Exhibitor win, a BOB win over the #1, #2, and #3 special at that time, received three 5 point majors, was always Best Of Winners, and finished at the Central Carolina Pomeranian Specialty show. In mid December at 18 months of age, he went to the very talented Nina Fetter, PHG, DHG, AKC Registered Handler, to begin his specials career in earnest. By the age of two, Ham had achieved 7 all-breed Best in Show wins under Nina's expert hand. He is currently the number 1 Pomeranian in the US and the number 5 toy dog. His first puppies are just now beginning to hit the show ring with his first son to show taking his first points at 6 months and 2 days old.
